This study builds an ROI model to evaluate automation upgrades for a 10,000-bird floor rearing farm. The model compares total investment (equipment + installation) against annual savings from labor, feed, medication, and mortality reduction.

Key inputs: automated feeding system cost – 12,000;manuallaborcost–15/hour; feed waste reduction – 7%; mortality decrease – 2%; medication saving – 20%.
Calculation: Annual savings = labor (87,600→7,500) + feed (6 tons × 450=2,700) + medication (1,200)+mortalityreduction(800) = 84,800total.Investment=14,000 (including installation).
ROI = (84,800/14,000) × 100% = 606%. Payback period = 14,000/(84,800/12) ≈ 2 months. A case farm achieved full payback in 9 weeks, validating strong economic justification for automation upgrade even at moderate scale.
The global broiler farming equipment market is expanding steadily. Valued at $4.18 billion in 2025, it is projected to grow to $6.87 billion by 2035, driven by rising poultry consumption and farm automation. Key growth factors include labor shortages in developed regions, stricter animal welfare regulations favoring floor rearing systems, and climate‑resilient technologies such as…
The Middle East challenges poultry farming with temperatures exceeding 50°C and high humidity. Standard floor rearing equipment requires significant adaptation. Ventilation demands oversized tunnel systems with high-capacity fans to maintain airspeed. Evaporative cooling pads need larger surface areas and regular maintenance to prevent mineral buildup. Drinking systems require higher-flow nipple drinkers for adequate hydration. Insulated…
In large-scale broiler farming, scientific feeding is core to determining growth rate and feed conversion. Our independently developed automatic feeding system is designed for precise nutritional management. The system consists of a feed bin, conveying pipes, a drive motor, feed pans, and an intelligent controller, achieving fully automated feeding. Its advantages are significant: We provide…
Traditional feeding often creates a dilemma: underfeeding some birds while overfeeding others. Automated feeding systems solve this through sensor and timer integration. Sensors monitor feed levels in pans and detect bird activity patterns. When combined with timers programmed for specific feeding schedules, the system delivers precise portions at optimal times. This ensures feed is always…
